Ryder was a tramp who had the nickname of 'Cider Ryder'. He lived to the
ripe old age of 75! Unheard of for a tramp who was not only a heavy drinker,
but had spent most of his life 'dossing', or sleeping rough....many 'healthy'
people don't even live to that age!
